Quite a few changes to mention today:

Personal Life Stuff:
- College registration was handled on Thursday. Getting set for my first of three (hopefully) years of training toward my RN certification. Oh, and I'm enrolled in a film course on the aesthetics and cultural aspects of horror movies, so that should be fun.
- College also means money to fund my necessities. Given my current situation, this means my computer equipment will be getting an upgrade to current standards. New laptop is a given, likely a new scanner, and hopefully a drawing tablet to let me finally do backgrounds and full color pieces the way that I want to do them.

Settings:
- Veghinix is right on track and getting closer to what I want with every add on and every change. The remaining races are in progress, including a much-needed rewrite on the Ozunir. I've got a better mental image on certain things now, so I can really start tightening bolts and getting the gears moving in the right direction.
- Halls of Infernus is still being worked on, but it's not a high priority. This one is a bit of a stealth update for those of you who don't follow my Twitter, so go ahead and check out that link. A handful of my characters from older days are being reworked for it, including Jaehral and Korruute'mas, so there's a good deal of revival coming for their backgrounds and plot lines. Unfortunately, this means severing their ties with Sril've Cress, but considering how that ended last year, I'm not too bothered by the loss.

Novels:
- Screen Capture is canceled. I hit a road block on the plot and it fell through. Oh well.
- Shadow of Reckoning is right on track, with the main characters coming together quite well. Should be a bit more dynamic and focused than the previous novel, which is now looking like it'll be turned into a non-canon piece. Too many changes, not enough satisfaction - blargh.
- In place of Screen Capture, a tighter-focused Xandren story is in the works, illustrating the Fall of an angel. For obvious reasons, going to be a very much adults-only final product.

Sketches:
- Tharivious has a new look set to debut with the rest of the cast images for Shadow of Reckoning. More of a streamlined pirate/military fascist vibe going on in the clothing, more anger in the face, just an overall better piece.
- Mirhlana and Rasilae (new character set to debut in Reckoning) are currently in progress. Expect a more action-oriented version of Mirhlana to come to the forefront (side-effect of having a better idea of what to do with the Machinists than I had last year), and expect a very much badass female fighter in Rasilae.
- Janihera will get another update next, but her clothing will be largely unchanged from the most recent version posted to the gallery.
